Confined Space Awareness – 1 day Safety AwarenessThis is a classroom course and is aimed at supervisors or managers with responsibilities for confined space entry and for any person who is required to enter a confined space at work. Candidates will be shown how to implement safe systems of work regarding confined spaces. Confined Space Awareness – 2 day Safe EntryA more in-depth course aimed more at individuals who carry out work within confined spaces covering a general confined space safety including safe systems of work, monitoring equipment, winches and harnesses and escape breathing apparatus. Classroom and practical exercises. Site Safety Management Training Scheme (SMSTS) Five-Day or Two-Day RefresherThis course covers The Health and Safety at Work Act and the regulations relevant to the Construction Industry. It includes site set-up, CDM, risk assessments, method statements, scaffolding, electricity, excavations, demolition and confined spaces, as well as recent changes in accepted working practices. For those who successfully complete the course there is a recognised certificate.
