He has extensive experience in the motor trade and construction industry having worked on large projects over £100 million and various smaller projects, as a health and safety manager and planning supervisor.

Has over 40 years experience working with a wide range of “Blue Chip” client companies, namely British Aerospace and H.M. Naval Base Faslane, The United Distillers Group, Railtrack, A.E Yates Group and Councils M.O.D and the National Construction College in Hillington.

Asbestos Awareness

Operatives will have sufficient knowledge of asbestos containing materials and of the hazards and risks associated with asbestos related products.

Chainsaw Awareness

Candidates will be able to safely carry out basic chainsaw operations on the ground. Reduce injury to personnel and damage to property and equipment.

Fire Extinguisher Use

Candidates will gain understanding of common types of fires, common workplace fire fighting equipment and how to use it safely.

Fire Precautions and Fire Safety

This is deigned to promote a safe working environment that is safe from the risk of fire by providing candidates with a general level of knowledge and understanding of fire safety, including: causes of fire, fire prevention, fire fighting and protection.
