Ryan Malone, an IOSH Certified Member, has been integral to HSEF since joining at 16 and completing an apprenticeship under his father’s guidance. With extensive experience across renewable energy projects in the UK and Europe, Ryan specialises in construction health and safety, CDM advisory, and Principal Designer roles. His expertise spans wind, solar, biomass, battery storage, and demolition sectors.
Key achievements include HSE advisory roles on large-scale projects such as the 148MW Progressoveka PV project in Ukraine and the UK’s largest solar farm (375MW Cleve Hill). Ryan excels in site inspections, compliance audits, training, and implementing safety management systems for multinational clients.
Qualifications include: City & Guilds Level 6 in Occupational Health and Safety, EMSS Safety Passport, SCQF Level 9 in Occupational Health & Safety, IOSH Graduate Member (Chartered in progress), GWO Work at Height & Rescue, First Aid, and Fire Warden Certified.

Gary is a chartered member of the institute of health and safety and a member of the international institute of risk managers. He has extensive experience in the construction industry having worked on large projects over £600 million and smaller projects, as a health and safety manager and CDM Coordinator. Gary is a recognised expert in CDM, being a CDM-C and Designer Assessor for a founder member of the SSIP & SSIP Members, having advised on the schemes content. And assesses the competence of CDM-C and Designer practices throughout the UK.
Brian has over 40 years’ experience working with a wide range of blue chip client companies. These include British Aerospace and H.M. Naval Base Faslane, The United Distillers Group, Railtrack, A.E Yates Group, Councils, M.O.D and the National Construction College in Hillington.
